Building Wonderful Relationships
At High Flyers Child Care, building relationships with our students and their parents is always our goal. We offer caring, genuine child care services in a family-oriented environment. Parental involvement is encouraged both at our center and at home to create a positive learning experience for your child.
Through positive reinforcement and encouragement, we promote a child's confidence through a variety of tasks and programs. Our highly-qualified staffers are here to help your child develop their early experience, leading to success in many avenues of their lives.
Our curriculum meets Child Development Associate (national credential for Infant/Toddler and Pre-K) competencies and goals, and also complies with Edmond Public Schools' standards.
Developmental assessments are completed in the fall, winter and spring within 45 days of enrolling in our program. These assessments are used to track your child's progress and developmental milestones along the way.
Infants (6 Weeks to 12 Months)
Babies are welcome to our infant program as early as six weeks old. They'll receive loving care that will promote their emotional development during their early years. We work closely with parents to develop a routine for your baby to suit your family's needs.
Infants are placed in a nurturing, healthy and safe environment at High Flyers Child Care to develop their motor skills. Language development is encouraged as well via activities, conversation and music.
Toddlers (1 to 2 Years)
As your child gets older, our teachers and staff will encourage them to explore the world around them. At High Flyers Child Care, we provide a variety of developmentally appropriate activities for toddlers, helping them to explore and discover their environment.
The expansion and development of social and cognitive concepts is encouraged by focusing on music and language development as part of the curriculum.
Preschool (2 to 3 Years)
Our preschool activities for children two and three years old range from singing to making art. There is plenty of time for social growth and interaction, however, the children's interests are allowed to lead the direction of focus as well.
Hands-on activities involving vocabulary and language are also part of our preschool curriculum. This leads to the development of social skills as well as friendships with classmates.
Preschool (4 Years Old)
Our preschool classes for 4-year-olds focuses on building an enriching learning environment that promotes social development, problem-solving, language skills and physical development.
Gross and fine motor skills are honed in our curriculum. This program is also available all summer long for parents who work year-round.
School Age (5 to 12 Years Old)
We believe these years are based around a child building independence. At High Flyers Child Care, we promote making choices, responsibilities, daily activities and parental involvement. The goal is developing positive character, social and self-help skills.
Transportation is available to and from elementary schools throughout the Edmond Public School system.
Our Summer Program
The goal of our summer program is to continue the development of your child's abilities during the summertime. Daily activities and field trips are organized, and tutoring, counseling and sports are all part of the program as well. The end result is creating a fun environment and a constructive summer for your child.
There is a $25 enrollment fee and an $8 T-shirt fee. Some field trips may include a small additional charge.
